Attacker sought following Hesperia stabbing

Investigators are searching for the attacker who stabbed a man during a fight in Hesperia early Sunday, law enforcement officials said.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials said the stabbing happened around 2:10 a.m. on Feb. 8 at Main Street and Avenue G. An investigation was launched within the scope of attempted murder.

Deputies first responded to the scene after receiving a report of a fight, according to agency spokeswoman Jenny Smith.

“During the investigation, deputies learned that an adult male had been stabbed by an unknown suspect and was taken to a nearby hospital prior to the arrival of deputies,” he said.

Further details, including a description of the attacker, were not available Sunday.
