Astronomer’s temporary CEO and founding partner, Pete Dejoy, made his first public -open statement after an unexpected appointment this Saturday and expressed his desire to direct his technology initiative beyond the last viral incident that included former CEO Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot. For the last few years, our business has experienced unbelievable growth. Once upon a time, what was a mission of helping companies with Apache airflow has become much more. We are privileged to sit at the center of our customers’ data and AI strategy, data pipelines behind the in-game analysis of your favorite sports team, chat boots working with LLM for customer support, AI training for self-going cars and strengthening every mission-critical process between them.
The events of the last few days took place in the small corner of several companies – data and the small corner of our world – a media interest in every encounter. The Spot light was unusual and surreal to our team, and if I never wanted it to be like this, astronomer is now a home name.
As an astronomer, we have never moved away from difficulties; The nearby year of building this business has repeatedly tested us again and we have emerged stronger every time. Cincinnati, starting from a software company in Ohio, to keep the lights open from the collapse of the bank holding all our money, spherical Pandemik, who demands us to do everything in the same room.
And still, we’re still here.
We are here because the astronomer is built by people living to solve difficult problems, it is late to correct the broken, and he cares deeply to do things correctly.
