OpenAI Plans To Launch GPT-5 In August: Report

CATGPT manufacturer Openai, according to a report by The Verge, plans to start the GPT-5 model in early August.
Initially expected to be released in May, the GPT-5 will be launched at the beginning of the next month ”, referring to sources familiar with plans.
In February, Openai CEO Sam Altman said that the GPT-5 O3 will contain reasoning capabilities.
Openai aims to combine that series and GPT series models to “reduce the friction of having to know which model to choose for each task on Chatgpt”.
“Although it may seem to be released in early 5 August, Openai’s planned version dates often change to respond to developmental difficulties, server capacity problems, and even competing AI model announcements and leaks.” He said.
Recently, Altman sent to X, which confirms that the GPT-5 will be released soon. According to reports, Openai will start mini and nano versions of the GPT-5 model.
