OpenAI to launch ChatGPT for teens with parental controls

Openai Tuesday announced The artificial intelligence company will start a special chatgpt experience with parental controls for users under 18, as it works to improve safety protections for young people.
Openai said that when a user determines that it is small, they will automatically refer to a Chatgpt experience that prevents graphics and sexual content and can be directed to age in cases of rare acute distress.
Openai also develops a technology to better predict the age of a user, but Chatgpt will see the under -18 -year -old experience if you have uncertainty or incomplete information.
The security updates of the initiative come after the Federal Trade Commission has recently initiated various technology companies, including Openai, an investigation of how AI chatbots, such as chatgpt, negatively affect children and young people.
The agency said these companies wanted to understand which steps they took to “evaluate the security of these chat boots while acting as a friend.”
