Operation Sindoor Fallout: What Is CENTAIC and Why India Can’t Ignore China-Pak AI War Network | World News

New Delhi: China’s growing defense cooperation with Pakistan developed beyond traditional equipment support and common exercises. This was open on the three -day military stock exchange after India’s Sindoor Operation. The striking thing was that artificial intelligence (AI) emerged as a strategic facilitator. Pakistan’s artificial intelligence -oriented military infrastructure, especially Artificial Intelligence and Calculation Center (Centaic), appears at the center of this transformation.

On July 29, the opposition leader (Lok Sabha) Rahul Gandhi referred to Centaic during his address in Parliament. He questioned whether the government was aware of the military integration between China and Pakistan.

Founded in 2020 with the help of China, Centaic claimed that he played a role in associating the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) with artificial intelligence -supported data exchange systems with the Chinese People’s Army Air Force (Plaaf).

Although Centaic has been for about five years, it is largely out of public opinion. However, his role was strengthened by Pakistan’s allegations that the real -time warfare area from China had received intelligence during the Sindoor operation.

Referring to General Rahul Singh, Gandhi said to the Parliament that Pakistan’s ability to define Pakistan’s Indian military vectors with such sensitivity shows that it was probably a more deeper intelligence sharing framework directed through Centaic.

Defense analysts confirm that Centaic is at the center of PAF’s Multi -Field Operations (MDO) strategy. This includes the fusion of terrestrial, air and space -based sensor data to create real -time warfare awareness. The effort is also supported from Türkiye and is largely directed from the Pakistani Aviation Complex in Kamra and the University of Science and Technology in Islamabad.

Centaic was officially announced by PAF in August 2020. The aim was to benefit from AI for both military and civil applications. PAF Baş Air Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan expressed his hope that Centaic would reshape the air force operations.

According to the Toronto -based defense portal Quwa, Centaic explores major data, machine learning, predictive analytical and natural language processing (NLP). These technologies become important for modern air war in new generation war programs, especially in Pakistan’s “Project Azm”.

Although official documents do not explicitly mention China’s participation, Centaic is seen as a platform that allows Pakistan to enter the bilateral research and development partnerships.

The observers believe that China is an effective partner in a strategic attempt to support PAF’s autonomy and abilities.

Technologies developed in Centaic can help him gain self-confidence in critical software-oriented defense systems such as Pakistan’s missile guidance, sensor fusion and advanced pilot-macine interfaces. These technologies are rarely present. Centaic’s ability to develop them indigenously can help Pakistan reduce their dependence on external suppliers.

One of the most important areas believed to work on Centaic is sensor fusion. By collecting data from many sources, such as radars, IR sensors or optical cameras, this feature offers developed battlefield visibility.

Similarly, machine learning models can be applied to electronic war, flight path optimization and smart missile control systems. ML can lead to a deep learning subset, drone autonomy and head -looking heads in missiles.

The ability to predict aircraft maintenance needs through estimating analysis is also examined. This will help ensure higher usability of key platforms such as JF-17 fighter. NLP may allow cockpit systems to directly communicate with the pilots in real time and improve state reactions in complex war scenarios.

The broadest objective seems to be aligning Centaic’s work with PAF’s “Azm Project ıyla with a sixth generation warrior field goal. If he succeeds, Centaic can transform Pakistan not only to one user, but also to the developer of the latest war aviation technology.

Experts, Centaic’s creation, after 2019 after the Chinese-Pakistan Air Force Cooperation of a stable model stressed that the increase. After Balakot strike, Pakistan developed military ties with China. In December 2020, Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe visited Islamabad and signed new defense agreements. The integration of radar and command systems between the air force of both countries has been reported to increase in this period.

Pakistan’s HQ-9P and HQ-16FE missile purchases were part of this wave of integration. Pakistan occupied Kashmir, the key radar systems is now integrated with China’s southern air defense network. Until 2020, Pakistan had established the National Aeronomy Science and Technology Park (Nastp) and Centaic as double AI centers, taking care of the dominance of the war area through cognitive artificial intelligence and electronic war.

Centaic may not be known to the public, but represents a strong change in how wars in South Asia in the near future. By forming the backbone of artificial intelligence decision -making, surveillance and war systems, India should take this integration seriously. Awareness about Centaic’s mission and China’s connections with the military intelligence ecosystem can be vital to shaping future defense strategies.
