Every year, patients at the Royal Children’s Hospital walk through a banner and ring a bell to signify the end of their treatment.

In one of the most impressive traditions of the Good Friday SuperClash, players from both sides will form a guard of honor as they run together on a common banner for around 100 patients at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

This year, to kick off the reverse guard of honor, ailing three-year-old Augie will “ring the bell” in front of a packed Marvel Stadium. Ringing the bell is a special ritual that symbolizes the end of a long, arduous journey of treatment at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
