Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor suffers injury during rally in Bihar, here’s what happened

On Friday, July 18, 2025, Prashat Kishor, the founder of the Jan Suraaj Party, suffered at a rally in Bhojpur, Bihar. Mr. Kishor was accompanied by Bhojpuri singer Ritesh Pandey, who joined the party in the early hours of the day. While sitting in the Kishor chair, his face suffered, Mr. Pandey took Mike and said to the crowd, “Prashant Kishor Ji is not good. He got a small injury. It needs to be separated.”
What happened at the rally?
According to a leader of the Jan Suraaj Party, Kishor returned to Patna residence after receiving first aid locally. The leader was not a major injury that required hospitalization, he added that Mr. Kishor was experiencing a injury in his ribs. However, the leader could not say how Mr. Kishor was subjected to injury.
Who is Prashant Kishor?
Kishor, also known as PK, worked in public health as a part of a program, which was initially financed by the United Nations (UN). After that, India entered the political landscape as a strategist and has been widely recognized over the years. He founded the Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) and gave advice to various parties, including the Congress, BJP, AAM AADMI Party and others, and forced them to earn election gains. In 2021, he announced that he retired from the election strategy and launched the Jan Suraaj Party in 2024 before the elections of the Bihar Assembly, which would take place until the end of this year.
