Frantic Vance Backpedals as He Gets Fingered for Iran War

Vice President J.D. Vance privately called on the President and White House officials to “go big and go fast” if the United States attacks Iran. The new revelations from the New York Times and CBS News about Vance’s role in the attacks follow previous allegations that the vice president had reservations about President Donald Trump’s plan to start a war with Iran. Vance, who had previously been skeptical about U.S. involvement in foreign wars, “expressed reservations” in the days before Saturday’s attacks on Iran, according to a report from The Atlantic on Saturday. Their concerns were also voiced by Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Dan Caine and senior Pentagon official Elbridge Colby.
