Oscar Piastri second on grid behind Charles Leclerc
In the dying second of the Hungarian Grand Prix’s last round, Oscar Piastri threw McLaren to Lando Norris, close to 1 Turn to regain the leadership of the race.
Australian was locked and Norris, who miraculously kept his tires alive in a strategy for 39 rounds, was strengthened to win the race and beat his teammate for 0.698 seconds.
Piastri was pitted twice and became second, Mercedes driver George Russell podium and disappointed Charles Leclerc’i finished fourth. McLaren 1-2 Finish points to the team’s 200th Grand Prix victory and at the same time narrowing the margin between the championship leader Piastri and Norris with only nine points.
Tired, but joyful Norris claimed his ninth win and declared that he was “dead” in an interview after the race.
“I died. It was hard, it was hard, Nor Norris said. “We didn’t really plan from one hand, but it was our only option to go back to something after the first round,” he said.
“I was pushing the last clue by capturing an Oscar.”

An elegant Piastri congratulated his teammate and said McLaren had done a great job.
“I don’t know if Leclerc has the right call, but we can finally go,” Piastri said when asked about the team’s different rubber strategies.
It was a rocky start to the Norris race, which started the third but fifth place after trying to pass his teammate on the opening round.
Piastri pursued the first half of the race, Charles Leclerc, the first half of the race, but at the beginning he couldn’t catch him. McLaren chose Piastri in the 19th round to upset Leclerc, but Ferrari performed a two -second stop and Leclerc appeared in front of Piastri.
Norris was taken on the 31st round and chose to stay outside – the others were pioneered by the race. Suddenly, a contestant for Norris Taç and Piastri – thanks to the team’s rubber strategy – he found himself chasing Leclerc and his teammate.

Hungaroring has limited overtaking points and strict turns that demand flawless excellence for every driver in every corner. A frustrated Charles Leclerc, during the race to his team ominous and ultimately released prophecy defense and the race engineer said, “We will lose this race.”
Piastri finally managed to cross Drs Range’s main flat and swooped Leclerc. With less than 20 tours, he began to hunt his Australian teammate for leadership, while McLaren reminded the team to compete cleanly.
Piastri tried many times to cross Norris, but his opponent remained intact and quickly and managed to escape from Australia’s lungs and made close to 1 Turn.

During the 41st round of the Hungarian Grand Prix race, Piastri’s race engineer asked whether he would prefer to try Leclerc or defend against Norris, and therefore he would have a better tire advantage. Australia instantly chose Norris.
A McLaren War for the Driver Championship is inevitable. However, the break in the middle of the season continues, so we will have to wait and see.
