Jharkhand Congress president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh on Sunday (November) said that more than 5,000 party workers from the state will take part in a rally at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan next month to protest against alleged vote theft.
“They will also hold a demonstration against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in various states.”

The Congress on Friday (November 23, 2025) will hold a ‘Vote for Chor Gaddi Chhod’ rally at the Ramlila Maidan in the national capital on December 14 to send a nationwide message against allegations of “destroying” the Constitution, a party official announced.
“More than 5,000 Congress workers from all divisions of Jharkhand will participate in the proposed rally. All district presidents have been asked to prepare the list of members who will attend the rally,” Mr. Kamlesh told reporters.
He also alleged that NDA Governments in many States were formed by “stealing votes”.
“The Election Commission, acting on the directives of those in power, disregarded the dignity of the entire electoral process. Therefore, we must continue to raise the voice of the people loudly to save democracy,” Mr. Kamlesh said.
