Sarah Ferguson made strange claim about late Queen before being kicked out of Royal Lodge | Royal | News

Next year promises to be an uncertain one for Sarah Ferguson. It is certain that she will have to leave the Royal Lodge, where she has lived with her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor since 2008.

It is also guaranteed that he will live the rest of his life without royal titles, but there are still a number of unanswered questions. It remains unclear how he will finance his new lifestyle and how he will spend his days. The former Duchess of York’s diary has been emptied after many organizations cut off contact with her following the revelation of her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. It is also unclear what will happen to Ferguson and her two dogs, Sandy and Muick, who have been living with her ex-husband Andrew since the death of the late Queen Elizabeth.

Buckingham Palace has reportedly insisted they will “stay in the family”, but the former Duchess’ known affection for them may mean that isn’t necessarily the case.

Sarah appeared at the Creative Women’s Platform Forum in London, where she spoke lovingly about dog adoptions and made a rather strange claim about their behaviour.

He said: “They’ve got a dog. They’ve got a corgi. Every morning they come in and go ‘woof woof’ or whatever, and I’m sure that’s the one talking to me. I’m sure that’s him, reminding me he’s still around.”

“Anyway, the truth is, I was very honored to be his bride. That’s a pretty big deal,” she continued amidst laughter.

“And as I was heading here I saw the Elizabeth Line [on the Tube] “And I said, ‘I want everyone to remember what a wonderful woman she was.'”

Although Andrew’s exile will require him to move to the King’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk, little is known about Sarah’s planned living arrangements.

Accordingly Daily MailSarah could be preparing to move into a newly refurbished “granny annex” on the grounds of Princess Beatrice’s Cotswolds estate.

Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi bought the stunning country house in 2021 and live in the main house with their four-year-old children Sienna and Athena, who will turn one in January.

“Grandma’s annexe now looks ready to move in,” claims the source cited in the report, adding: “Just today, the road was closed for the delivery of propane gas bottles for the annexe.

“This coincided with the first cold of winter. So someone’s arrival is imminent. It may not look like much of a palace from the outside, but I bet the inside is breathtaking.”
