P-plater charged after fatal Hornsby crash involving pregnant woman

Both drivers of the station wagon and the BMW were not injured. They were taken to Hornsby Hospital for mandatory testing. There were no passengers in either car.

Police arrested the 19-year-old man at his home in Wahroonga at 12.45pm on Saturday. He was charged with dangerous driving causing death, negligent driving causing death and causing loss of fetus.

The man, who was refused bail, is expected to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.

While the crime scene has been identified, the police investigation continues.
