Pair arrested in murder probe after death of one-year-old girl bailed again

A man and a woman who was re -arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a girl on Wight Island again with bail again.

Hampshire police said Jayla-Jean McLaren died in the hospital on August 3 after being seriously injured on August 1.

Before he died, a 31 -year -old male and a 27 -year -old woman, both from Newport on the island, was arrested on suspicion that he had caused great physical damage with intention, but was released on conditional bail waiting for further investigation.

After being arrested again, on suspicion of murder, on Tuesday, and after being detained, the detectives were released on Wednesday with conditional bail until November 12th.
