Search for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 to resume over 11 years after plane went missing | Malaysia Airlines flight MH370

The search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 will continue this month, more than a decade after the plane went missing, Malaysia’s transport ministry announced.
The search will continue on December 30, the transport ministry said on Wednesday, and confirmed that US robotics company Ocean Infinity would take part in a 50-day search of the seabed.
Flight MH370, traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 12 Malaysian crew and 227 passengers, disappeared from air traffic radar on 8 March 2014. Its disappearance sparked the largest search operation ever, but the fate of the plane has never been solved and remains one of the greatest aviation mysteries.
In 2024, Malaysia said it was willing to reopen the investigation into the disappearance if there was convincing new evidence.
