Pakistan Respects Russia’s Relations With India, Sharif Tells Putin

Beijing: Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Tuesday that his country called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to strengthen Islamabad’s ties with Moscow. The two leaders are in China in China to attend the SCO of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tianjin and to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the resistance war against the Japanese aggression of the Chinese people.
“Our relations have healed for recent years. Thanks to your commitment and interest in many areas. I plan to strengthen our binary ties decisively.” He said.
The Prime Minister also expressed his gratitude to the President of the Russian President for supporting Pakistan, which was seen as “the act of balancing in the region”.
“I have to say that we respect your relations with India. This is very good. But we also want to establish very strong relationships (with Russia). And these relations will be complementary and complementary for the good and progress and prosperity of the region.” He said.
According to Russia’s TASS news agency, Putin is a “very dynamic leader” and now that Russia and Pakistan are “progressing in the right direction”.
Şerif said that Pakistan is willing to expand ties with Russia in trade connection, energy, agriculture, investment, defense, artificial intelligence, education, culture and human-human changes.
President Putin emphasized that the ties between the two countries have recorded the orbit up and emphasized the importance of cooperation in organizations such as SCO and that this may play an important role in regional and global security and stability.
The two leaders also discussed the situation in the conflict of South Asia, Afghanistan, the Middle East and Ukraine. According to Radio Pakistan, they exchanged opinions on the ongoing cooperation on the long -term problems and disagreements of global interests such as Palestine and Kashmir.
The Sheriff also adopted Putin’s invitation to visit Russia in November and participate in a SCO event for the heads of government. “I would be very happy to visit Russia,” he said.
The relations between Pakistan and Russia have come a long way from the hostility of cold war to the current level of cooperation, and the hope of expanding in the coming years.
In recent years, the two countries have tried to strengthen binary ties with each other.
The Sheriff also met with Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon and Beijing, and both leaders said they were pleased with the cooperation between their countries in all areas of mutual interests.
