Palantir embedding staff in Defence, can mine data, contract shows

When Palantir signed a $7.1 million contract with the Australian Department of Defense in 2024, the price tag wasn’t the only part of the deal that attracted attention in Canberra.
Defense has signed multiple deals worth a total of $26 million with the controversial pro-Trump tech company since 2013. But it did include details of how Palantir would staff Defense and handle Australian data, and included a number of favorable contract terms.
