Naidu Wants TTD Temples To Become Tech-Driven Spiritual Hubs

What are you doing? Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said that all temples under Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) should be transformed into modern spiritual centers with improved facilities and technology-driven services for devotees while maintaining their sanctity.

Inspecting the AI-based Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) at Vaikuntam Row Complex in Tirumala, the CM highlighted the use of technology to ensure transparency, efficiency and better management of temple activities. He instructed the authorities to strengthen systems to detect problems in advance and resolve them promptly so that devotees do not face any inconvenience.

Naidu said all services, from the time devotees line up to the completion of darshan, should be monitored in real time through the command and control centre. He emphasized that steps should be taken to ensure that Tirumala remains pollution-free.

The Chief Minister asked the officials to prepare an action plan to build more temples to promote spiritual awareness among devotees. He appreciated the effective implementation of Annadaanam and Pranadaanam programmes. He called for improving medical services through the Pranadaana Foundation. He ordered that Srivari Sevaks should be trained according to their skills and used efficiently.

Naidu said TTD policies should serve as a model for temples across the country. He suggested setting up ICCCs in all major temples in AP to improve queue management.

Earlier, TTD officials had made a presentation about the command center developed by Karya Foundation with the support of NRI donors. US-based donor Jayaprasad Vejendla explained the system virtually. Dealing with an average of 73,000 devotees a day, the system helps improve facilities and darshan capacity by predicting and monitoring crowd flow. Artificial intelligence-based Govinda app estimates waiting time.

Currently, 63 TTD temples are digitally connected to ICCC. They have plans to expand their services further.

Later, the CM inaugurated the FSSAI Laboratory at Tirumala and inspected the equipment installed there. FSSAI director general Panda and CFTRI director Giridhar explained that the laboratory tested food and water samples, including ingredients used in Srivari laddu and annaprasadam. The laboratory can analyze 1,000 to 1,500 samples each month. Among those present on this occasion were TTD chairman BR Naidu, executive officer M. Ravichandra, CM secretary PS Pradyumna and additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, JEOs V. Veerabrahmam and Dr. A. Sharath, SP L. Subba Rayudu, CVSO KV Muralikrishna and TTD deputy EO Somanna Narayana.
