“There’s a rivalry between these two teams,” Johnson said. “It’s something I totally know and am a part of. I just don’t like that team.

“George and I talked and we agree.”

Chicago trailed by 18 points in the first half and won the game 31-27. The Bears’ social media account posted a video of Johnson hyping up the team.

“F— Packers! F— them! F— I hate these guys,” he was heard saying.

The rivalry between the Bears and Packers has certainly heated up. Johnson added fuel to the fire when he first joined the Bears. He was asked at the time why he chose Chicago. He said he “enjoys beating Matt LaFleur twice a year.”

The message led to a few icy handshakes throughout the season, including one after a playoff game. Chicago went 1-1 against Green Bay in the regular season, beating them when it mattered most.

The first-year head coach praised his players for their gutsy performances as they trailed 21-3 at halftime after two losses. Johnson said his team was “built for pressure.”
