Within 50 hours of the most daring broad daylight ATM robbery operation on November 19, three people were arrested, including the vehicle in charge of the cash-carrying vehicle, the complainant’s former employee and a police officer.

The defendant had planned this robbery three months ago and had conducted research to identify areas where CCTV was not available.

Police seized ₹5.7 crore and arrested three of the 30 people detained and interrogated on suspicion.

Some 200 police officers were deployed and sent in different directions to track down other escapees.

The police faced many challenges, including the defendant choosing areas where there were no security cameras, driving with fake numbers and not using a mobile phone.

Mr. Seemant Kumar Singh announced a cash reward of ₹ 5 lakh.
