Parliament was told that rebate amounting to ₹ 15,756.96 crore has been distributed under the Relief of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme in FY26 till December 25, benefiting more than 1.1 lakh exporters.

India’s import growth from China has slowed down over time, but exports to China have grown faster than imports this fiscal year, the government told Parliament.
While India’s imports from China increased by 618.73% in the 2005-25 FY period, the increase decreased to 87.81% in the 2015-25 FY period.
