Passengers escape as T.N. government bus hangs off bridge near Ponneri in Tiruvallur

The crew of eight passengers and a state bus escaped without damage after the vehicle hit a retaining wall, and remained hanging on a bridge on a lake near the Ponner in the Tyrroturian region.

The bus was operating between Ponner and Minjur through the villages of Aladu, Reddypalayam, Thathaimanji and Kattur in the Terrobllur region. He had returned from Minjur and returned to Ponneri.

While the bus was in the village of Thathaimanji, the driver lost control of the vehicle due to brake failure and hit the retaining wall of a bridge. As the bus bridge hangs dangerously on the edge of the bridge, eight passengers and crews managed to quickly go down and escape without damage.

Police and transport authorities are in the process of taking the bus. Police sources said the accident occurred due to braking failure and more investigations continued.
