Louis Rees-Zammit: ‘No bigger game’ than Wales v England, says full-back

As the poster boy of world rugby, Rees-Zammit’s return to the Six Nations has been a boost not only for Wales but for fans and media too.

“I try not to focus on that,” Rees-Zammit said.

“Everything I have off the field has come from my rugby skills and of course going to America has brought in a new audience, but it’s all about performance.

“Henry Pollock goes through the same thing, he bursts onto the scene and plays amazingly.”

While England’s Pollock ruffled a few feathers, Rees-Zammit believes it is for the good of the game.

“You have to try to bring out your personality when it comes to rugby because a lot of it gets shut down,” he added.

“Henry does a great job of bringing his personality to the game and we need more people like that, it will only improve the sport.

“Obviously he insists on it, and I was insistent on it when I was younger, but you live through it.”
