FBI notes detail grim demands Epstein made for procurement of underage girls | Jeffrey Epstein

Investigative notes detailing Jeffery Epstein’s detailed demands from people he sent to procure children for his sexual assaults are among the documents released by the Department of Justice on Friday.
They shed a brutal light on the actions of Epstein and those around him in their efforts to procure young women and underage girls for the disgraced financier. They were part of long-awaited documents from Donald Trump’s justice department that have been criticized for being only a partial disclosure and heavily redacted.
But one document, designated EFTA00004179, consists of an official FBI evidence cover sheet and 13 pages of handwritten investigative notes from an interview conducted on May 2, 2019. The subject of the interview has been omitted, as has some of the content.
Still, themes emerge; the recruitment of girls, sexual relations under the guise of “massage” and Epstein’s particular preferences regarding age and race.
“Friends [redacted] Friends. Great Brazilian band. “It’s a desperate time,” the witness said, according to the notes. “We’re running out of girls.” The notes appear to refer to Epstein by the initials “JE.”
The notes said that during this “desperate time” a “dark-skinned Dominican” was brought in, but “JE did not want a Spanish or dark-skinned girl.” The initials of the person who brought the underage girls to Epstein are redacted in the document. This person told Epstein that they were bringing “young girls” to Epstein, but Epstein complained, “yeah, but it’s not shady.”
The witness said he wasn’t sure whether Epstein paid the supplier for the “service” but said he did pay the girl.
The notes then proceeded to a bathroom and “to the breasts and vaginas next to the tub… she got into the shower and told him he couldn’t bring girls he didn’t like. … told him to keep looking for girls.”
“At some point [redacted] “I witnessed him asking the girl for ID,” he says in the notes, “I wanted to make sure she didn’t believe them under the age of 18.” [redacted] I messed things up by bringing in more old girls.”
The notes include the witness’ descriptions of sexual encounters, such as Epstein making “crazy noises” and touching the victims “roughly.”
The document includes photos of girls aged 14-17, described in the notes, in bikinis around the city and on the beach. The notes reference locations in New York: the “41st St Apartment” in Manhattan, locations in Rochester and Brighton Beach, New York, and a high school prom.
The identity of the witness is unknown. The notes align with Epstein’s known interest in Brazilian children.
Brazilian immigrant Marina Lacerda, identified as “Minor Victim 1” in the federal indictment, was the central witness, speaking publicly for the first time in September. She detailed her abuse of Epstein starting when she was 14 and said she saw Donald Trump with Epstein on more than one occasion, but Trump denied knowing of any criminal activity by Epstein.
Her testimony ultimately resulted in Epstein’s indictment. Epstein later killed himself in a New York jail cell in 2019.
Jean-Luc Brunel, who founded a modeling agency with the support of Epstein, was arrested by French authorities in 2022 on suspicion of trafficking and rape of underage girls. Brunel was accused of providing more than 1,000 girls and young women for Epstein to have sex with.
In April 2019, Brunel visited an agency in Brazil that his company had worked with in the past to find new models to bring to the United States, according to a source who saw Brunel in Brazil. Ghislaine Maxwell, a confidant of the convicted Epstein, was also reportedly tracked to the Brazilian Riviera shortly after Epstein’s death.
Brunel killed himself in a Paris prison on February 19, 2022.
