Patriots jerseys earn praise on social media

The New England Patriots unveiled their “Nor’easter” jerseys as part of the NFL’s “Rivalries” program for their game against the New York Jets on Thursday night.

The Patriots wore “Storm Blue” colored jerseys with white helmets and pants.

The uniform featured six stars symbolizing the six New England states and a unique “NE” logo with nautical letters and compass points on the uniform’s shoulder.

The uniform had features that a fan could not see with the naked eye. There was a secret message inside the collar. The words “We Are All Patriots” were sewn in white letters on red fabric.

“The centerpiece of the look is a deep Storm Blue base; rugged, weathered and weathered like the shoreline after a storm,” an infographic on the Patriots’ website reads. “The color reflects both the relentless strength of Northeasterners and the tenacity of the people who face them.”
