Pedestrian dies after being hit by car in Coleraine

A man in his 20s died after being hit by a car in Coleraine.

The incident happened on Dunhill Road in the County Londonderry town at around 01:20 GMT on Saturday.

Police and emergency services arrived at the scene, but the pedestrian died at the scene.

The road was closed but later reopened.
