Pernod, Brown-Forman in Merger Talks

Pernod Ricard and Brown-Forman are discussing a merger amid a downturn in the industry. A combination would bring together Pernod’s brands such as Martell Cognac and Absolut Vodka with Brown-Forman’s whiskeys such as Jack Daniel’s and other brands such as Fords Gin and Herradura tequila.
