July 4 (Reuters) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Saturday that he spoke to U.S. President Donald Trump during the July 4 holiday and called for “American determination” to help end more than four years of war with Russia.
Zelenskiy said he had a “very good” meeting with Trump in which he discussed the situation on the front lines.
“There is a real possibility of ending this war, and America’s determination will be vital,” he said.
