Savannah Guthrie made an emotional plea on Tuesday’s Today show for more help in the search for her missing mother, Nancy.

Guthrie put on a brave face as he urged viewers to come forward with more information about the case, crying at points after reporter Liz Kreutz revealed some new details about the case.

On Monday, a ransom note emerged that the family received in February, claiming the senior was dead. The Today team played a clip that Guthrie and his siblings shared on Instagram the next day.

‘We now beg you to give us back our mother so we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we can find peace. This is very valuable to us and we will pay for it,’ the announcer said at the time.
