The Hundred 2026: Inaugural IPL-style player auction to be held in London on 11-12 March

Rosters will consist of 16 to 18 players, with a salary cap and a salary cap that is the minimum amount teams must spend.
The wage pot for the 2026 men’s competition has increased by 45% to £2.05 million per team, and funding for women’s teams has also increased by 100% to £880,000.
The minimum salary for female players has also increased by 50% to £15,000, while the number of foreign players allowed in both competitions has increased from three to four.
Franchises were each allowed to sign or retain a maximum of four players before the auction.
The Hundred’s 2026 fixtures have also been announced.
The opening men’s and women’s double header will take place on July 21 at The Oval between MI London and Sunrisers Leeds, two franchises with IPL ownership links.
Total 64 matches, external The group stage is split equally between men’s and women’s competitions.
The last round of group matches will be played on August 12, with the Eliminator two days later and the final on Sunday, August 16.
There will be reserve days in case of bad weather in both the Eliminator and the final.
Every match will be broadcast live on BBC Sounds, with highlights broadcast on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website, while 16 matches will also be available to watch live on BBC television.
