Perth welcomes drum and bass icon
As Perth is the home of drum and bass in the southern hemisphere, it was no surprise that one of the icons of the genre, Sub Focus, aka Nicolaas Douwma, brought his Circular Sounds tour here, as tickets sold out and organizers scrambled feverishly to find a venue other than the original Ozone Reserve.

Wellington Square was a great venue and a smart choice to give a drum and bass night the grandeur it deserved, but it lost points for the lack of toilets, which resulted in some very desperate people spending more time staring at a closed portal door than their favorite artist.
