Peter Mandelson arriving at home after being released on bail

The Metropolitan Police said Lord Mandelson was released on bail hours after his arrest on Monday on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

The Metropolitan Police said a 72-year-old man was released pending further investigation.

Lord Mandelson returned to his home in London around 02:00 GMT.
