Peterbilt owner Paccar jumps after Trump tariffs on heavy trucks

Shares Paccar President Donald Trump announced that he would apply 25% tariff to imported heavy trucks as of October 1, and increased by about 5% on Friday.
“Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Mack Trucks and others, such as Trump on Thursday, will be protected from the attack of external outages,” he said.

Paccar is the owner of Peterbilt and Kenworth. Bank of America’s Friday note made to customers, producing more than 90% of the US trucks at home, but cost $ 8,000 to 10,000 more than competitors in Mexico.
