A report in a German newspaper claimed that US President Donald Trump called Prime Minister Narendra Modi at least four times in the last few weeks; However, the Prime Minister did not talk to him. This comes from America’s 50% tariff to Indian goods that are valid since August 27th.
Meanwhile, according to the ANI, the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued a draft notification of the implementation of additional tasks on products imported from India.
According to the notification, additional tariffs are applied for the President of the President to enter into force on 14329 on 6 August 2025.

Previously, on July 30, US President Donald Trump announced 25 percent more tariffs in India and showed the new Delhi’s ongoing oil trade with Moscow as a lock.

Has Modi survived Trump’s calls?
