Photo of Trump flanked by bikini-clad women VANISHES from Epstein files before humiliating u-turn… while image of Princess Diana also emerges

A photo of Donald Trump flanked by bikini-clad women is among more than a dozen Epstein files suddenly withdrawn from public view over the weekend, prompting allegations of a cover-up.
After releasing 300,000 pages from the files on Friday, the U.S. Justice Department removed some of them.
Many of the files had already been heavily redacted, with nearly 700 pages completely blacked out and women’s faces obscured in photographs, leading to accusations that the public was not being given the full story.
Hundreds of photos were published; Some of these were apparently taken by Jeffrey Epstein himself, and dozens more were apparently taken by the FBI during a raid on the pedophile financier’s properties.
One of them showed an open desk drawer containing two photos of President Trump. In a never-before-seen photo, she poses with four women in swimsuits.
Last night deputy attorney general Todd Blanche defended the decision to remove the image from the public archives. He cited concerns about the women’s identities but insisted there were no allegations they were among Epstein’s victims.
But hours later, in a dramatic u-turn and after accusations of a cover-up, the Department of Justice announced the footage had been returned.
The same picture also included another photo showing Trump with his wife Melania, Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, the pedophile’s long-time partner.
The department announced on social media: ‘The Southern District of New York has flagged an image of President Trump for possible further steps to protect victims.
‘Out of an abundance of caution, the Department of Justice has temporarily removed the image for further review.
‘Upon review, it was determined that there was no evidence that the photograph depicted any Epstein victims and the photograph was republished without any changes or corrections.’
Among the missing files that emerged on Friday was a photo of Trump with Jeffrey Epstein, Melania Trump and Epstein’s longtime partner Ghislaine Maxwell.
A February 2000 photo of Trump with his wife Melania, Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in the drawer was noticeably missing from the files released by the Justice Department on Friday.
The Ministry of Justice claimed the photo was removed to ensure no victims were photographed
There were a number of never-before-seen photos of former President Bill Clinton, but very few photos of Trump. Both were involved with Epstein but both have since disavowed those friendships
Mr Blanche added: ‘After publishing the photo we learned that there were concerns about these women… [it] down. This has nothing to do with President Trump. ‘If we believed the photo contained a survivor we would not have published it… without correcting the faces.’
He added that the Ministry of Justice was ‘still investigating’ the photo and did not have ‘perfect information’.
‘The photo will be published again, the only question is whether it will be redacted or not,’ he said. ‘If there are any survivors in any of the photos, we will fix them.’
Some have suggested that the photo of Mr. Trump with the women may have been taken during the Miss Hawaiian Tropic swimsuit competition, for which he has judged several times.
Almost all of the other photographs recovered from the documents consisted of paintings of naked women hanging in Epstein’s home.
Marina Lacerda, an Epstein survivor who was abused from the age of 14 until she was deemed ‘too old’ at 17, described the corrections as ‘a slap in the face’.
He told Sky News: ‘We were in shock… there’s nothing transparent there.’
Mr. Trump, who was in the same circles as Mr. Epstein in New York and Florida for decades, has sought to dispel rumors that he had connections to the late billionaire.
Epstein’s most famous victim, Virginia Giuffre, was lured from Mr. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach to work for the pedophile.
Photos of celebrities including Bill Clinton, Mick Jagger and Richard Branson, as well as Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, were released by the US Department of Justice as part of the long-awaited Epstein files.

But Democrats kept up the pressure on the Republican President, even turning the heads of some Trump supporters who asked why the President had not released the full official investigative files as promised.
This led Congress to set a Friday deadline for their release, which was ultimately only partially met.
The 119-page grand jury document, which was initially completely blacked out, was re-released last night with minimal redactions following public outcry.
The Ministry of Justice shared in X: ‘Documents and photographs will continue to be examined very carefully, in accordance with the law and for the victims and their families.’
While appearing in photographs is not evidence of wrongdoing, overzealous editing may have risked giving the wrong impression, with a photo of singers Michael Jackson and Diana Ross and three blacked-out figures suggesting they had met with Epstein’s victims.
In fact, the image was already public, and the people hidden were Jackson’s own children, Michael Jr. and Paris and Ross’ son was Evan.
Senator Dick Durbin, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said he would investigate the excessive use of redaction, adding: ‘The Trump administration is violating federal law to protect the rich and powerful.’
Republican Thomas Massie said the limited release ‘substantially fails to comply with both the spirit and the letter of the law.’
Responding to the removal of the photo featuring Mr Trump, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee said: ‘What else is being covered up?’ But the White House said the administration had ordered the release of thousands of pages of documents in an effort to cooperate with Congress, adding that it had “done more for the victims than Democrats have ever done.”
Mr. Trump did not comment on the latest filings.
A framed front page about Charles and Di hung in the wardrobe
Jeffery Epstein’s obsession with the Royal Family can be seen in one of the more bizarre photos taken from his home.
Inexplicably framed and hung at the back of a wardrobe, The Times’ front page from June 1994 was when the then-Prince Charles told interviewer Jonathan Dimbleby that a divorce from Princess Diana would not prevent him from becoming King.
The story was accompanied by a full-length photograph of Diana in the so-called “revenge dress”, an off-the-shoulder evening gown described as the most iconic little black dress of all time, which she wore to a high-profile gala in London on the night the interview aired on ITV.
The June 1994 front page of The Times was inexplicably framed and hung at the back of a wardrobe.
The story was accompanied by a full-length photo of Diana in an off-the-shoulder evening gown, described as the most iconic little black dress, dubbed the “revenge dress.”
The front page is thought to have been before pedophile financier Epstein met Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, now the former Duke of York; The pair were introduced a few years later by socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, Andrew’s college friend and Epstein’s lady-turned-girlfriend.
Documents released by the US Department of Justice over the weekend include numerous photographs of the interiors of Epstein’s residences.
The front page of The Times, with the headline ‘Divorce no obstacle to throne, says Prince’, is believed to have been found by the FBI at Epstein’s ‘compound’ on Little Saint James, his private island in the Caribbean.
The photo shows him behind a wardrobe, with polo shirts hanging in front of him and a pair of shoes hanging on the soles.
As with all published photos, there is no explanation of the context; This led to criticism from politicians and Epstein’s victims.
