This is the first photo of a four -year -old child crushed to death when a heavy tombstone cross rolled to him.
The medical officials and the police could not save the little boy called Eli Testa locally after being called to the Rawtenstall Cemetery in the afternoon on Saturday afternoon.
‘The purest, the most magical road to the beautiful, bright spirit’ for the tributes were flooded.
Eli’s parents Jessica and Tommy Testa sobbed each other and hugged each other while visiting the tragedy scene with other family members.

Family -friend Zena Shaw said in a moving tribute: ‘The pain of losing Eli has no beautiful, bright spirit that brings joy in the purest, most magical road.
‘Thank you to Jess and Tommy… for me to be there, for allowing me to hold his hand and say goodbye. At that moment, even though it was impossible, it was full of love. It was the hardest thing I did, but the biggest gift you can give me. ‘
I will carry Eli with the rest of my life. It was light. That love. Lightly a sweet boy rests’ he said. ‘You are always loved.’

Eli’s death is not treated as a suspect and a file will be sent to the Coroners office.
The Rossendale Council confirmed that it was working with the relevant authorities to determine the conditions of the tragedy that occurred around 13.00.
Local authorities have the responsibility to protect cemeteries and ensure that they are safe for visitors.
