Piers Morgan orders Donald Trump remove ‘dreadful’ Rob Reiner post | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Piers Morgan demanded that Donald Trump delete his sickening Truth Social post following the tragic deaths of director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer, 68. Earlier today, the US President launched an extraordinary attack on Reiner, just hours after it was revealed that the film director and his wife had passed away.

Trump published a lengthy post on Truth Social calling the 78-year-old movie star’s death “so sad.” But the statement turned into a shocking rumor, with the President claiming the couple’s deaths were “due to the anger he caused others” through “Trump derangement syndrome.”

The President’s message read: “A very sad thing happened in Hollywood last night. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling but once very talented film director and comedy star, passed away, reportedly with his wife Michele, along with his wife, Michele, due to the anger he caused others due to his enormous, persistent and incurable condition with a mind-crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.”

“He was known to drive people CRAZY with his fierce obsession with President Donald J. Trump; his apparent paranoia reached new heights as the Trump Administration exceeded all goals and expectations of greatness, and the Golden Age of America was upon us like perhaps never before. Rest in Peace Rob and Michele!”

Sharing the sickening post on social media, Morgan wrote, clearly outraged: “This is a terrible thing to say about a man who was murdered by his troubled son. Delete this, Mr. President @realDonaldTrump.”

Dozens of Morgan’s followers flocked to the comments section, writing in one: “I’m a huge Trump supporter and I agree with you Piers. This is not the time or place for this.” Another added: “I agree. I couldn’t imagine being the kind of person to think that when someone passes by. Heartbreaking to say the least.”

Reiner and his wife were found dead in their California mansion overnight after they were reportedly stabbed to death.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating their deaths, and their son, 32-year-old Nick Reiner, remains in police custody following his arrest.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department records show he was booked into the LAPD Metropolitan Detention Center and is being held on $4 million bail.

Reiner is best known for directing films such as Stand By Me and This Is Spinal Tap.
