Piers Morgan has been openly critical of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry since the couple stepped down from royal duties five years ago. The 60-year-old Uncensored host has recently been making the rounds during the release of his new book, Woke Is Dead: How Common Sense Triumphed in an Age of Total Madness, the follow-up to his 2020 book. But in a surprising move, the former Good Morning Britain presenter dedicated a segment to the royal family, including the Sussexes.

Speaking to host Camilla Tominey on the Daily T podcast, Piers claimed he was “less and less interested” in the Sussexes. Asking the question, the presenter said, “But are they included in a chapter in the book? There is a chapter about royalty.” he asked. The uncensored broadcaster attempted to clarify his position by explaining the reasoning behind Harry and Meghan’s coming forward.

“It’s about the royal family in general,” he explained. “But at the same time, what they represent to me is the epitome of the worst aspects of wokeness, virtue signaling, and victimhood.”

He branded it “level hypocrisy”, claiming the Sussexes tended to “blame other people”.

Piers continued: “He preaches about private jets and he preaches about the environment.”

He called it “wokeness” and added that the pair are “becoming less and less relevant.”

While a recent poll suggested that Meghan and Harry’s popularity fell after they left the Royal Family, the couple continued to dominate the headlines.

Most recently with Meghan’s debut at Paris Fashion Week.

Earlier this month, Harry and Meghan were named “Humanitarians of the Year” at a ceremony in New York City on Thursday, October 9, where they also spoke about the dangers of social media.

The royals were recognized for their work at the third annual World Mental Health Day Gala hosted by Project Healthy Minds.
