Pilots Association Raises Concern Over AI Crash Report

New Delhi: The Indian Airline Pilots Association (ALPAI) created serious concerns about the direction, transparency and integrity of the investigation, which strongly criticized the preliminary report published by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Office (AAIB) on June 12, AI 171.
In a sharp statement, Alpaı claimed that “the tone and direction of the investigation is a prejudice for pilot error”. The Association categorically rejected what is called an early assumption by emphasizing the need for a “fair, reality -based investigation”.
The Association pointed out that the further fueling debate was leaked to the media without any responsible official signature or reference. “As the investigations continue to be covered in confidentiality, there is a lack of transparency in the investigation that undermines reliability and public confidence,” he said.
The ALPAI also criticized the excluding qualified and experienced personnel, especially the careful pilots, excluding the investigation team. “It is imperative to include individuals with first -hand operational expertise in order to provide a correct and balanced assessment,” he said.
The statements come in the midst of the increasing public and industry investigation on the AI 171 accident that demands more than one life and calls for an independent and impartial investigation.
