On Thursday, India and the United Kingdom signed a turning point Free Trade Agreement (FTA). The agreement was signed in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Keir Starmer.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer greeted the agreement, the agreement will provide significant benefits to both countries, he said.

“Today, it points to a historical day in our relations today. After a few years of work, I am very happy to sign the comprehensive economic and trade agreement of two countries today.” He said.
Prime Minister Modi said that the free trade agreement between India and England went beyond economic cooperation; It forms the basis of shared prosperity.
“This agreement is not only an economic agreement, but also a common prosperity plan. He said.
Prime Minister Modi said that this agreement will provide access to products produced in the UK, including medical devices to Indian consumers and sectors, at a more reasonable and affordable prices.
“This agreement will benefit from Indian youth, farmers, fishermen and MSME sector. He said.
