Sydney Sweeney debuts new bob haircut amid Scooter Braun romance rumors

For Sydney Sweeney, the old is over, the new is in.
The 28-year-old actress, known for her long, golden locks, debuted a new haircut during an AFI screening of the movie “Christy” at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, California, on Saturday.
Wearing a soft pink dress, Sweeney was all smiles as she rocked her new bob look.

In an interview with VogueThe hair team, colorist Jacob Schwartz and hairstylist Glen Coco, talked about the transformation.
“Sydney was looking for a change and wanted to have a big hair moment on the red carpet in support of her new movie, Christy,” Schwartz said. “It felt like the perfect time to do something bold.”
“It’s a transformation,” Coco added. “Christy has a lot of underlying undertones of resilience, transformation, and strength. Sydney transformed herself for this role, and I wanted to transform her into this updated version of herself in real life. Something new and fresh to close out the rest of the year.”

New haircut comes months after Sweeney canceled her engagement to his long-time partner, filmmaker Jonathan Davino, 41.

“I’m learning a lot about myself by spending more time with my friends. And I love it,” she said.
Sweeney has reportedly since moved on to a “casual” date with Scooter Braun.

Last month, People Citing an unnamed insider, Sweeney and the 44-year-old record executive “casually got together.”
“Everything is ordinary,” another source told the outlet. “He lives his life and works hard.”

“Sydney has just ended a relationship and is doing what women in their 20s do – dating,” a source said.
Media reported that the two met in June when they attended Lauren Sánchez Bezos and Jeff Bezos’ star-studded three-day wedding extravaganza in Venice, Italy. However, TMZ noted that it is unclear when the two started dating.
