Anime Stars’ Pioneer Talent Firm Shuts Down

(Bloomberg) – The best US talent agency for virtual anime stars closed this week, and customers said the company has hidden hundreds of thousands of dollars.

VSHOJO helped to manage its customers’ sponsorship, goods and donations. VTUBERS usually prefers to remain anonymous in both online and commercial transactions to protect their privacy and security.
On July 21st, Vtuber Ironmouse, who has a 2.3 million twitch followers, said VSHOJO owes “a significant amount of funds”. The company also kept up to $ 500,000 for the lack of immune Foundation.
Ironmouse also did not respond to the request for comments.
In his note to the fans, Ignacio said that the money spent by the company was “designed for a charitable initiative”.
He says they are not fully paid for at least three VTUBER – Mint Fantome, KSON and Michi – sponsorships and other studies under VSHOJO. This month, according to publications on social media, more than a dozen VSHOJO talent announced that they abandoned the agency.
The claim that the stars were misunderstood in the creators’ economy has been the subject of magazine articles in the past. More recently, Creative Artists Agency William Morris Endeavor and Rooted Talent Agencies, including the United Talent Agency, have been employed.
