Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a call from the French President Emmanuel Macron, whom the two leaders discussed the peaceful solution of conflicts in Ukraine and West Asia. During the phone call, Macron also gave PM Modi about the latest meeting in Washington, where European leaders met with US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“My friend made a very good speech with my friend Macron. They gave views on efforts to resolve the peaceful solution of conflicts in Ukraine and West Asia.

“Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a phone call from Emmanuel Macron, the President of the French Republic of French Republic. Leaders received an opinion on the ongoing efforts to resolve the conflicts in the Ukraine and West Asian region.” He said.
“President Macron shared the evaluation at the last meetings between Europe, USA and Ukraine leaders in Washington. He also shared his perspectives on the situation in Gaza. Prime Minister Modi reiterated India’s peaceful resolution of conflicts and early restoration of peace and stability.”

Both India and France also discuss the strengthening of ties in various fields such as trade, defense and civilian nuclear cooperation. “Leaders also reviewed the progress on the agenda of bilateral cooperation, including trade, defense, civilian nuclear cooperation, technology and energy fields. He said.
“President Macron also supported the early conclusion of the free trade agreement between India and the EU. The leaders agreed to remain in contact with all issues.” He said.
