PM Modi Pay Homage To Pulwama Terror Attack Martyrs

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid tribute to the CRPF personnel killed in the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama on this day in 2019 and said every Indian draws strength from their enduring bravery. Vice President CP Radhakrishnan also paid tribute to the personnel who sacrificed their lives in the attack.

Vice President Radhakrishnan said that the supreme sacrifice shown by CRPF personnel will forever be etched in the memory of the nation.

“I pay tribute to the brave personnel who sacrificed their lives in the Pulwama terror attack. Their supreme sacrifice will forever be etched in the memory of the nation and will continue to inspire us to build a strong and secure India,” he said.

On February 14, 2019, a suicide bomber rammed his explosives-laden vehicle into a bus carrying Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, killing 40 jawans.

Days later, India launched a retaliatory strike known as the Balakot airstrike.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday paid tribute to the CRPF personnel killed in the 2019 Pulwama terror attack and said terrorism is the greatest enemy of humanity and India is determined to eliminate it completely. In a message published on X, Shah said: “The country will always remain indebted to the courage, dedication and sacrifices of our security forces and security institutions fighting terrorism.

“Terrorism is the greatest enemy of humanity and India is determined to eliminate it completely,” he said.

A suicide bomber of Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad rammed his explosives-laden car into a bus carrying Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel in Pulwama on February 14, 2019, killing 40 jawans.

Days later, Indian Air Force warplanes bombed terror training camps in Balakot, deep in Pakistan.
