PM Modi Starts Three-Nation Tour With Jordan Visit, Set To Hold Talks With King Abdullah II | India News

There is a joint venture between IFFCO of India and Jordan Phosphates Mines Company (JPMC) called Jordan India Fertilizer Company (JIFCO) with an investment of $860 million. According to MEA, in the field of investment, there are around 15 ready-made clothing companies with investments worth $500 million in Jordan’s Qualified Industrial Zones.

“Jordan is home to a vibrant Indian diaspora of over 17,500 people working in textile, construction, manufacturing and other sectors. On connectivity, Royal Jordanian recently started direct flights between Amman and Mumbai and plans to expand its operations to New Delhi. Jordan provides tourist visa on arrival to Indian citizens and has also recently introduced electronic visa,” Malhotra said.
