Ange Postecoglou appointed as head coach at Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr

Former Tottenham coach Ange Postecoglou has been appointed as the technical director of Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.
Riyadh-based Al-Nassr, captained by Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, won the Saudi Pro League title for the first time in May.
Al-Nassr was previously coached by experienced Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, but the 71-year-old left the club at the end of the previous season.
Postecoglou has been out of a management job since being sacked by Nottingham Forest last October after just 39 days in charge.
The 60-year-old Greek-born Australian has signed a two-year contract with Al-Nassr.
Postecoglou previously had a successful tenure as manager of Celtic, guiding Spurs to Europa League glory in 2025 after winning back-to-back Scottish Premiership titles.
He works as a pundit for ITV during the World Cup.
