Police arrest ‘utterly wicked’ paedophile nursery worker | News

Footage has been released showing the moment a pedophile nursery worker was jailed for abusing young children in a sexual exploitation campaign dubbed “every parent’s worst nightmare”.

Vincent Chan, 45, of Stanhope Avenue, Finchley, was jailed at Wood Green Crown Court on Thursday, February 12.

On December 3 he pleaded guilty to 26 charges including sexual assault and taking/making indecent photographs of children. On January 29, he pleaded guilty to a further 30 offences, including taking/making indecent photographs of children, voyeurism, sexual assault and outraging public decency.

Judge John Dodd KC sentenced Chan to 18 years in prison for a “totally evil, perverted and depraved” catalog of abuse spanning 15 years.

The Metropolitan Police said his sentence marked the conclusion of a “deeply distressing case”.
