Australia v India Twenty20 cricket LIVE updates: Commentary, live scores, updates
England’s Ashes contenders will begin arriving in Perth on Monday with “no excuses” for failing in their mission to reclaim the jar from Australia, who will miss captain Pat Cummins for at least the first Test.
Australia’s selectors will finalize their chosen group over the next two days before the squad is announced midweek. 15 players are expected to take part; Cummins is also expected to go to Perth to increase his bowling load following his back injury.

Signs of English success didn’t quite flow through during the white-ball start in New Zealand, where the ODI team was thrashed 3-0 and none of Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Duckett or Jamie Smith could trouble the Black Caps for long.
Head coach Brendon McCullum insisted those games, particularly showcasing some quick spells from Jofra Archer, would help in the long run leading up to the fifth Ashes Test in Sydney in January.
Asked whether the trio of poor batting displays would affect the Test team’s confidence, McCullum replied: “No, I don’t foresee that.” “It’s a different form of the game and a completely different type of challenge that we’ll be facing.”
