Police investigate fire attack on Dutch synagogue

Dutch police have opened an investigation into an arson attack on a synagogue in Rotterdam, in the latest suspected incident of anti-Semitic violence since the start of the US-Israeli war against Iran.
No one was injured and no arrests were made as a result of the overnight fire, city police said Friday.
An explosion occurred Monday at another synagogue, 200 km away in neighboring Belgium, in what authorities said was an anti-Semitic attack. Damage occurred in the attack, but no one was injured.
In the US state of Michigan, a Lebanese-born US citizen crashed his truck into a synagogue and a kindergarten there and was shot and killed.
Following US and Israeli airstrikes against Iran and the subsequent Iranian response, concerns about possible attacks on Jewish communities around the world have increased.
