Police launch aerial search for woman missing in outback, hold ‘grave concerns’

The search for a woman missing in a remote South Australian mining town has resumed.
Police launched a new aerial search of the scorching outback, focusing on the area between Blue Dam and the state’s northernmost town of Andamooka. Aerial search expands the area already covered during comprehensive ground searches.
Trisha Graf, 41, of Andamooka, was last seen driving in the Roxby Downs area on December 12 in a white 2012 Ford Territory bearing SA registration S254 BCX.
Just a day later, his vehicle was found abandoned and undrivable near Blue Dam, east of Andamooka.
Police said they had “serious concerns” about Ms Graf’s welfare as she had been missing for more than two weeks.

“Police carried out an extensive search operation involving land, aerial searches and specialist diving teams. Unfortunately, Trisha was not located during these searches,” SA Police said in a statement.
Anyone with information about Ms Graf’s whereabouts or movements that led to her disappearance is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au.
