Police launch urgent search for missing boy, 10 – ‘Growing concerned’ | UK | News

Police are urgently searching for a missing 10-year-old boy and officers are “concerned” for his welfare. Police said Cole Gallacher was last seen in the Whistleberry Wynd area of ​​Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, at around 9.30am on Tuesday.

The teenager was seen wearing black school trousers, a black waterproof Zavetti jacket and pink-black Nike sneakers. Police are asking the public to provide information regarding his whereabouts. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.

Inspector Colin Thapar said: “We are increasingly concerned about Cole’s welfare and are urgently trying to trace him to ensure he is safe and well.

“Officers are carrying out a number of investigations but I am also appealing for the public’s help. Have you seen Cole and do you have any information on where he might be? If so, please come forward.

“I would also ask people to check their shacks and outbuildings in case anyone has taken shelter there.”

Sharing more details about him, police said he was white, 4ft 8in, with brown/blonde hair, a perm on top, and short sides.
